The wooden log house was built during the second half of the 18th century and is a local architectural monument. The aim of the reconstruction concept is to preserve the image of the house as far as volume and structure of the planning are concerned.

In the course of time the house had sunk considerably. The building was lifted up with railway jacks and it regained the lost loftiness and view to the river. Six dormer window constructions were added to the roof. The old tile roof, original boarding and details of the façade, the original entrance door, all interior doors and plank floor were restored. Winding staircase was transferred from a demolished building.
The new extensions – veranda with underground garage and a tower – are the new language of wooden architecture, transformation of a local tradition and fusion into constructive austerity.
