Sewerage pumping station is located on bank of city canal in a picturesque scenery surrounded by old trees. This architectural monument of industrial heritage with the interesting pumping equipment and underground reservoir dating back to the times of reign of Russian tsars should be made available for the public use as a unique evidence of technology of its time.
Renovation project proposes to convert the building into a restaurant. A bar would be located in the underground reservoir. The main hall of the restaurant is located in the pump room where tables would be placed among three pumps. A sun-parlour would be added to the building on the canal side.
