The project was implemented as a part of charity campaign “Saulainas dienas” - initiative of newspaper “Diena”. The house is designed to serve as a temporary residence place for parents whose child is treated at the hospital and who also receive psychological asisstance. Beside the hostel type bedrooms there is also a common living room, a kitchen and a loundry. The project draws public attention and at the same time serves as a pattern of preservation of wooden heritage being the first renovated wooden building within the territory of a hospital.
